bats running around your house frantically. Though they are a wonderful asset
to the nature, but when it comes to our homes, we prefer to keep them out. But

you should know what you are doing. You might think, removing bats from your
home is easy. But it is not, especially if you are not trained professionally.
Also, many people use in humane methods to get rid of them. Today we would
discuss methods of getting rid of bats
from your Attic and that too in a natural and effective way:-

1. First and the foremost thing
to do are to look for signs of Bats infestation in your house. You need to know
how they are entering your house, what kind of specie are they and look for
damages caused by them. You might not even notice about bats infestation for
days, as they come out in night and go back to their homes at dawn. Bats have a
habit of roosting in warm areas, therefore look for places like attics that are
a bit warmer. Look for the fecal droppings around your house. This way you
would know if you have to start preparing for bat removal project in your
house.
2. Once you know the places from
where they enter, you can start get rid of bats in the attic by sealing all the holes and gaps leading in to
your house. These are the primary entry and exit points from where these bats
fly in and out. Even if you don’t know where they are entering from, just look
for all potential holes before they even discover. But before you start pinning
these holes, remember to never seal the main entry and exit point before getting rid of bats in the attic, as it
may trap them permanently in your house.
3. After all the other holes and
gaps are filed, now is the time to get
rid of bats in the attic by using exclusion devices. If you have them, then
it is good else you can call for a professional team who obviously will have
all these devices. Bats have a good sense of remembering the architecture.
Using exclusion devices like netting or funnels would make the bats fly
naturally without hurting them. Just one recommendation, you should start the
project in the night as they are active that time.
4. Once you are confirmed that
all the bats are removed from your house, seal the entry and exit points
completely. Bats have a good memory and would attempt to re-enter the building
for a long time. Since they are fragile in nature, therefore they won’t be able
to claw o chew their way back in. So, if you do everything correctly, then you
can get rid bats from attic
completely.
5. Last but not the least, after getting rid of bats from your attic
completely, you should do a cleanup exercise. During their stay they would have
dropped their fecal matter and urinate in your attic. Also, bats leave a very
strong odor behind. Therefore, cleanup is required to avoid any health
problems.
